About
Nina Wright aka Girl Mobb, started as a graffiti writer in Cincinnati, and moved to Oakland in 2008. Girl Mobb, the artist name, comes from her inspiration to work with other women as a collective on several art projects with femme centered themes.
Since 2016, Nina co-founded and run Graffiti Camp For Girls, a nonprofit spraypainting class for teens with her dear friend Deirdre O’Shea.
Nina holds a BFA in Painting from Academy of Art University, San Francisco, and is now based in the Bay Area, California. She has contributed dozens of mural-scale public works there, across the country and internationally.
She is currently a resident tattooer at True Ambition Tattoo in El Sobrante, CA.
